Album Reminder helped over 20,000 users to keep track of their favorite music artists by sending out email notifications and providing custom RSS feeds for new album releases. Additionally, it provided a recommendation engine based on collaborative filtering and importers for media players such as iTunes. Revenue was generated through the Amazon Associates program.
During its active years, over 500,000 notifications had been sent and it was featured by online media outlets such as Lifehacker.com and TheNextWeb.com
The website was discontinued in 2014.
