Cambodia's lucky iron fish

A lump of metal in the shape of a smiling iron fish could be the answer to a major global health problem.

Anaemia affects two billion people - a third of the world's population - and is usually caused by a poor diet lacking in iron.

It is often associated with feeling tired and sluggish, but it can have much more serious health effects.

In pregnant women, young children and people already suffering from other diseases, anaemia can kill.

Now a joint Cambodian and Canadian team are using a small iron fish to help solve the problem.

Nick Wood reports from Cambodia.
