Another perfect example of fixing something that isn't broken. The functionality has become very sketchy while also looking worse. More often than not it hangs making the connection and has to be force stopped, cache cleaned and restarted to work near how it should. The UI is awkward and clunky. I haven't seen one feature that's better and a lot that are simply worse.

Review: My experience with Google Remote Desktop on the Samsung S23 Ultra has been underwhelming. The app has issues recognizing special characters and struggles with physical keyboard compatibility. This indicates a need for a more thorough development and testing process. The software feels incomplete, and I believe a more skilled development team could significantly improve its functionality and user experience.

After using Chrome Remote Desktop for years, I can say it's a pretty decent way to quickly remote access a computer. However with the recent changes of the app to move away from a dedicated app and into what looks like a sandboxed Chrome extension running on Android, the app feels much more clunky than it used to be. There are quite a few issues that make it less user friendly, including the new keyboard being sized for an ant. The old UI experience was much better.
